Nielson Home Panel – Accepting Applications Now

Looks like they are not accepting applicants in the Toledo area. Sorry guys…

For those of you that like hearing about extra income opportunities this one if for you. National Consumer Panel is now accepting invitations. If chosen, they will send you a scanner to scan all of your grocery purchases. You accumulate points as you go and can redeem for all sorts of prizes. I am really excited to start this program. My plan is to have my kids scan the groceries as I am putting them away. They will LOVE doing this.

What is National Cusomer Panel? The National Consumer Panel focuses on measuring consumer attitudes and behavior. The panel is made up of people just like you, whose opinions help manufacturers and retailers make decisions on what products to develop or improve

What’s in it for me? You’ll earn gift points that are redeemable for name-brand merchandise, including electronics equipment, jewelry, household items, toys, and much more!
You’ll also earn entries into our many exciting sweepstakes. But, above all, you’ll be making your opinions count!

How does it work? As a panel member, the National Consumer Panel will provide you with a hand-held scanner. Every time you or members of your household shop, you’ll use the scanner to scan the barcodes on all of your purchases.
Then, once a week, you'll send us your purchase information. It's as easy as that!

I just filled this out and was given a message that said there are no scanners in my area. I live in 43623 so maybe not enough people have signed up around here. I also tried to be put on the reserve list but it was a dead link.

I submitted my application in either Dec or Jan and was put on the waiting list. They selected me and I received my scanner in the mail last Friday. It is a little confusing with entering in the price and coupons, but extremely quick to do once you have that part of it figured out!

I signed up last summer and didn't get my scanner until late December, but now I am scanning away! Don't forget to take the surveys as well because they help to boost your points!!!

my mom has been doing it for YEARS (here in Toledo) at least 8 or 9. She buys gifts and stuff with the points. This last time she got a full set of luggage. it's pretty nice.
