Yes, Kroger is still doubling $1.00. However, I did not find coupons for Kraft cheese or Nabisco crackers in the inserts like I was hoping for. I believe that it is a great week to stok up on Brawny and Quilted Northern. Both are part of the $5 off ten items AND there are dollar off coupons in the paper making them $4.49. Hormel chili will also be a good coupon match-up... Melissa R
yes they are but manager said only for a few more weeks.
They are still doubling this week and starting January 31 it's back to $.50. Even though the Perrysburg Ad starts on Monday their actual fiscal year starts on Feb. 1st. They have to have everything changed over before the ad day 1/31 so the last day for double coupons will be Saturday 1/30. Also WATCH your coupons that are over $1.00 ex:$1.50. They are not doubling and the cashier told me they were only doubling dollars but when presenting the ad at the customer service counter they gave me back the difference.
I know they usually do this, but I wanted to double-check. Anyone know if you can do multiple $5 off per transaction?
Yep, you can do multiple $5 off each set of 10 in 1 transaction. I just did 5 and got $25 off. The Ro*tel is .42 each and there are .25/1 blinkies. There is also .40/3 blinkies for Hunt's tomatos which are not in the ad but included. Sorry I don't remember the price on those.
I also did the deal 5 times today with no problems. Also, the store manager did confirm today that Sunday is the last day for dollar doubles at Kroger. Couple more things:
* they are out of stick I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and have been since last week. Apparently the warehouse is too. Get a raincheck! :)
* The Finish that the $2.50 coupon is for is not good on this sale. There is one included in the sale, but it is the smaller 20 count box. It is not a Quantum one, so it is not included in this sale. It is the wrong size (34 count is on the coupon).

I e-mailed Melanie to correct, but just so everyone knows, Kroger was wrong when they told me the Electrasol was not the right size for the coupon. The $2.50 coupon is fine with this sale.
Also, there is a $1.00/1 Cellfire coupon for the Nature Valley granola clusters that you can combine with a manufacturer's coupon.
